Aladin T. Abughazaleh
Founder, President & CEO

As founder, president and CEO of LAMP Technologies, Aladin Abughazaleh provides LAMP with experienced leadership and, together with his executive team, creates opportunities for growth through new client acquisition, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and the enhancement of existing client relationships.

Aladin’s expertise in the commodity futures field and understanding of the pressures alternative investment clients face, led him to develop an integrated investment portfolio accounting, monitoring and reporting technology software platform at his former company, ATA Research, a multi-advisor asset allocation business.

Established in 1985, ATA Research managed assets composed of public funds, private pools and offshore funds. Simultaneously, Aladin consulted with other futures industry firms to help develop investment and asset management software products.

Designed to grow ATA’s business by alleviating back and middle office accounting pressures and challenges, the system served as the genesis for LAMP Technologies. A spin-off of ATA Research, LAMP was created to provide backoffice outsourcing services to meet the unique needs of the alternative investments industry. In June 2000, Aladin exited the asset management business to focus entirely on LAMP.

Prior to creating ATA Research, Aladin worked for Dallas-based futures brokers ContiCommodity Services and Smith Barney where his active pursuit of researching and monitoring trading advisor performance and the development of the associated software had its origins. Aladin began his career involved in family business interests exposing him to the commodity futures field.

Aladin is recognized in the industry for his pioneering contributions on performance evaluation analysis and diversification strategies. He regularly speaks at industry conferences and has published articles in industry journals and newsletters.
